All societies of the world chalk out specific ways for the introduction and encouragement of suitable behaviours which produce uniformity and compromise in the style of social life. These styles of social life may be different in different societies but the aim of all of them is the, same, to provide guidance for the suitability and acceptability of them and also on what occasion which of the behaviour should be adopted. Social norms not only control the behaviours but also affect the thinking like, "If they have treated me well, I should be grateful to them". The social norms have knit the social life with so much intensity and strength that we cannot ignore them and if this network is disturbed then one's life will become meaningless to prefer death even.
